Q:    What are Type R prints?
A:    Type R prints are prints made directly from transparencies.  These are non-archival, but hung in indirect light will last for 15 years or more if hung under the proper conditions.

Q:    How do I care for my photographic image in my work or home environment?
A:    To prevent fading, always make sure that your photo is not hanging in direct sunlight or bright light.  Also hang the image away from any draft sources put out by A/C or heat vents. Constant air & heat changes can degrade the photo and shorten your hanging pleasure.

Q:    What sizes are available for wall decor?
A:    Refer to Purchasing Info for available size information. Larger sizes are available, please call for price quotes.  Each image is considered individually.   Images from 35mm slides are considered on an individual basis and only printed in very large sizes if the sharpness and image quality is not degraded.

Q:    Can I purchase the photo unmounted & unmatted?
A:    No, photographic prints are mounted on mounting board and matted with single or double  mats designed to enhance the photo.  They can also be matted with museum rag for an additional charge upon request. Matting & mounting print options larger than 20 x 30 will be discussed with the purchaser. Images printed on canvas may be purchased unmounted.

Q:    What if I want archival high resolution digital prints rather than Type R prints?
A:    High resolution digital scans printed to Fuji Crystal Archival paper are available. Fuji Crystal Archival Paper is unmatched for color saturation and resistant to fading.  Prints are available in all sizes and on special order only.  Call for price quotes available.

Q:    What is required to place an order?
A:    Orders can be placed by phone or email. A deposit is required on all orders. Checks, Mastercard & VISA are accepted.

Q:    How is my order delivered?
A:    Previous arrangements can be made for delivery. All shipping and handling charges will be added to the order. California sales tax will also be added for California residents.
